The New Me..... Please

So it has been forever since I have even attempted blogging, but I am going to give it a go again in the hopes that it will be a way to keep myself motivated...
I need to transform my life and so I need to have a place to vent, and explain, and just be able to say what I want to say and also track my progress (and there better be progress!).

Here is what I want to change in my life:

~ My Physical Appearance
  • I need to lose about 100 lbs to be considered healthy
  • I want to get in shape so I can start running
  • I want to feel good about me!

~ Finances
  • Finding a full-time consistent job (working in a field I love)
  • Taking care of regular monthly bills and keeping them up-to-date
  • Begin clearing up some of the large amounts of debt Ryan and I have accumulated

~ Family & Home
  • I want the time I spend with my children to be quality time!
  • Patience! I need this in a bad way, some days more than others
  • I would love to be able to say that my husband and I are in a romantic, loving marriage and get along fantastically (at least the majority of the time)
  • I would also like to get my house / life more organized so that we are not so chaotic all of the time
  • I would like to find a way to help my daughter manage her ADHD so that her school and social life are successful
  • I also want to grow closer to my God each day and learn to trust Him in every aspect of my life (in short, I need to learn how to let go)

So with all of that said, I now need to think of how I am going to accomplish all of this and will get back to you. This blog will become my way of keeping myself accountable and hopefully encouraging and motivating myself.

The Colwill Life

It's Wednesday and I am posting mid week, thats impressive.
I have been working a fair bit, mostly at Birchmount (the school I did my internship at). I also take care of a little girl named Kaitlyn 2 - 3 times a week for the evenings.

Hailey is crazy busy... the busiest child I know. I am sure that every parent says that but after working at a daycare for 3 years and teaching, I still agree to it. She keeps Ryan and I on our toes. She is very smart and loves exploring everything.... my motto is "if she isn't hurting herself or someone else than she can explore what she wants too" but boy oh boy.....
She runs full force where ever she goes and can't be stopped. She understands and everything and it is really neat to see how all of a sudden you ask her something and she will do it. Not talking a whole lot yet, still a lot of jibberish, or swedish... not sure yet. Her vocab consists of "Mom, Dad, Dexter, Nanny, No, bye, hi, puppy, juice, cheese, and Dora". Pretty extensive.. I know...lol. At least she has the basics, Dora and cheese.

Ryan is still at Kent full time, he is the supervisor of the kitchen dept. He is also working nights, 5 days a week at Purolator.... he is super tired, but doing what he can to get us through. Hopefully I will start getting some consistent paychecks. Gotta love supply teaching.
He is also in the application process of the RCMP recruitment. He has passed the written test, the paperwork, and passed the PARE today!!!!
We are really hopeful that this will work out. It's the interviews and lie detector tests next. Who knows, he could be headed to Regina in a couple months!!

That is about all that has been happening here.
It's busy, but hopefully we will start to see some pay off..... :P

We are heading to Chester next Friday till the following Tuesday, so it would be nice to be able to see some of you who live that way.... let me know.

Again....

We are going to try this again.....
I am really bad at this blogging thing.
I do well for a week or two, then life overcomes my desire to blog and I get caught up in doing other, more productive things....
I want to succeed at this blogging deal, I feel out of the loop.
I am constantly reading all of my friends blogs and then I feel guilty for not giving back..... I guess I am a blog leech.

My goal is to update once a week, that is somewhat reasonable.
Keep me accountable team!!!!
